What robomap is
robomap is a free field guide to physical AI: humanoids, robot arms, drones and self-driving vehicles, the companies behind them, and evidence of what they really do. Every claim has a dated source.
It lists 1,753 companies in 52 countries and 2,030 machines, with 2,741 dated sources. It is free to use.
How a profile is made
- Profiles are written from the companies' own websites and press releases.
- Founded years and head offices come from Wikidata. Some humanoid robot records come from Humanoid Record.
- Every source has a publisher, a date and a type: company claim, customer statement, independent report or official filing.
- A machine has two separate fields: whether it is on sale yet, and how strong the evidence is that it does real work.
- Funding numbers come from a data provider. A profile that no person has checked yet says “Not reviewed”.
What counts as physical AI gives the rules for who is listed. Recent changes to the data are on the Changes page.
